The Airbus A220, formerly known as the Bombardier CSeries, is a family of large single-aisle passenger jetliners designed by Bombardier Aerospace, later built by Airbus. It is composed of two models, the A220-100 (formerly CS100) and A220-300 (formerly CS300). It was designed to complement the small passenger jetliner family manufactured by the Canadair division of Bombardier, the CRJ regional jet, later sold off to Mitsubishi.
In late 2018 Airbus took full control of the programme and rebranded it as the A220.
