The Airbus A220-100 (formerly Bombardier CS100) is the smaller of two jetliner models in the Airbus A220
family of single-aisle large passenger jetliner designed by Bombardier Aerospace, and later taken over by Airbus. The first example, registration C-FBCS, flew on 16 September 2013. Operation was launched on 15 July 2016 with Swiss International Air Lines.
In July 2018 Airbus fully took over production and branding of the programme, renaming the Aircraft as A220.
