Chasing the 777
In 2016, I chase lots of Boeing 777s, which is a big difference on taking lots of A330s in a year. My first 777 flight this year, CX257 from Hong Kong to London, was on 24/3. It was a -300ER which is 4 years old (B-KPZ), also the 26th of the type in CX. The second flight was also a -300ER, flight CX238 on the return to HK on my 2016 UK trip. This is the third of the type of CX(B-KPC). I vomited, but CX's SSFTH helped me. I will take two more 777s on the trip to Korea in August. The first one will be a -300ER again, as CX434 on the 19th. The second one is a -200, as CX419 3 days later. It will be something new to me on travelling on a refreshed -200. Although I took a -200 two years ago(it is CX of course), it was using the old seats.
Gripen vs Fighting Falcon vs Hornet
This is for a possible purchase by the Philippines on new Fighters. The Contenders I have found are the Saab JAS-39 Gripen, Mcdonnell Douglas/Boeing F/A-18 Hornet and General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon.
Take Note this is just a rumor but may be possible since the new aircraft the PHAF Purchased are meant for Training purposes on Supersonic Aircraft.
The JAS 39 is a Single-Engine fighter produced by Saab in Sweden. This was made to show the world that Sweden is virtually independent of either East or West for combat aircraft.
The Gripen can go at Mach 2 at high altitude and was built so that it is easy to purchase, maintain and fly.
The Hornet was a 2-engine multi-role carrier fighter produced by Mcdonnel Douglas, later Boein…
WHAT IF?
What if in the future everyone has a helicopter?
What if in the future passenger aircrafts are 300ft long?
Illustrations and Profiles of Aircraft
Shall I continue adding illustrations to pages, or should I stop?
Please answer in the comments and also I would be very grateful if Raptorzilla said something too.
Fictional flyers
Wouldn't it be interesting if someone built and flew an aircraft based on a design from a movie or a TV show?
Maybe they should start with something relatively simple, like the flying wing from Raiders of the Lost Ark!

5th Generation Fighter Projects: An Update
The discovery of the power of flight has given a huge change of how wars are fought. The statement "If you rule the skies, You rule the war," has indeed proved true as past wars became the evidence of the importance of air dominance. Nowadays, even with peace in our hands, countries are still striving to make the best combat aircrafts ever built and the latest ones, the 5th Generation Fighter Aircrafts.
United States of America:
- F-22 Raptor
2. F-35 Lightning II
'
Russia:
1. SUKHOI PAK FA
'
China:
1. Chengdu J-20
'
2. Shenyang J-31
'
3. J-18
'
Give me yours at the comments section!!!
Similarities in Design; Haven't you noticed?
Nations nowadays especially those considered as the superpowers, USA, Russia and maybe China have built their own 5th Generation Fighters to address the growing threats around them. Here's some representatives from those nations:
- USA -Lockheed/Boeing F-22 Raptor
- RUSSIA -Sukhoi PAK FA
- CHINA -Shenyang J-31 Gyrfalcon
Haven't you noticed? These 5th Generation Fighters have very close and similar designs. These three fighters have almost similar airframes, shapes of its ailerons, flaps, elevators, air intakes, and wings (except for the J-31 which has wings similar to an F-35C). Would you consider it as a sort of copying or maybe hacking to achieve the stealth technology or consider it as a result of TV documentaries featuring the F22 Raptor…
Pages which need creating
There are obviously many aircraft that dont have pages on the Wikia and that is because there are so many.
But we need a list of Aircraft which dont have pages so they can be made and dealt with, so we can move on to the next project

What do you all think is the most obsolete plane????
Now it's all the users on this Wiki's turn to decide what is the most obsolete plane. Don't be afraid to speak your thoughts.

editing
Many of these articles contain spelling or grammatical errors. Now, don't get me wrong, these are still excellent articles providing a good deal of information, but they would be even better if such mistakes were elimated.

Old Users
You guys ever wonder about what happened to old users? Why they went away and left the wiki they were at? Just wondering.
Military
Hello. You are free to edit this blog post and make comments, just don't remove this message. And make sure what you say is relevant to the topic.
RenDalek"s opinions on WWII aircraft.
These are my opinions on WWII. On both the Allied and Axis sides.
Starting with the Grumman F4F Wildcat; why didn't they build it like the F6F Hellcat from the start? Hello!? Next; the F2A Buffalo: WTF? I don't know who came with the idea for that plane; it was a piece of shit! Looks like a fat Wildcat! Another piece of shit was that TBD-1 Devestator. It should of being called it "The Winged Shit"; is was a cuck aircraft! The Zero; no armour; no SSFT's (Self sealing fuel tanks); piece o' crap for sure. And the Hawker Hurricane; slow; outdated. What about the Nakajima Ki-27 Nate and Ki-43 Oscar; those were even crappier aircraft; worse than a Zero. Don't forget the Val; the Kate; the Judy; the Jill; the Betty Bomber; the Sally; and the Pete;…
A must-look place for airplane enthusiasts!
The Aircraft Wiki is definitelty a place for aircraft boffins such as myself to look at. The Wiki expands each day; and a whole lot of new pages and pictures show up. I recommend this to any aircraft enthusiast!
Naming Issues
I've noticed that many articles have varying styles of names. Some have the company name in front, pthers just their designated name. We should decide on a single type of name for the aircraft. Instead of "Mikoyan MiG 29" and "MiG 25", we should name both articles "MiG-29" and "MiG-25". Yall following me with this? Would be easier for finding articles.
Just Testing. Dont Read This.

The F-35 in Canada
Well, I'll be frank with anyone reading this. I am not one for politics. I do not follow them, I see them all lying and putting others down. I read from several news sources on the same topic, and get my news that way, because if I don't, it'll be biased to no end. I read and I study often, and I won't support something unless I know all the info from both sides of the story. Well, onto my point with this blog.
Canada's government, with the Conservative party, are planning to buy the F-35 to replace it's F-18 fleet. The Liberals, the opposing party, beg to differ in their plans. The Liberals want to completly deny any upgrading in the military. The Conservatives want to update Canada's fighter force.
I can't speak for everyone in my country…
Blahmarrow's list of concepts and ideas
I am writing this blog for personal use with recording the various ideas I have with aircraft. Feel free to comment if you like.
- Canard additions to obsolete planes. What if the Tomcat, or an Eagle had canards? Would they be any better?
- Thrust vectoring to obsolete planes: What if the Dart or Tomcat had 3D TVS?
- "Over-The-Top-Wings": Sort of like a bi-plane, but the wings are much lower to the body of the plane. Take an F-22 for example, it has a blended wing and body design. What if a second wing were to be added on top of the normal wing? Not very high up, but close to the rest of the body, attached with poles, like on a biplane? Or the wing tips were attached to the outer wing of the normal wing, and there was a gap between both wings over …
