COMAC C919

The COMAC C919 is the Chinese small narrowbody jetliner from the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC). It is a short to medium range jetliner. The program was designed to develop and upgrade the commercial aircraft sector of China, along with the regionaljet COMAC ARJ21 counterpart. So far, the aircraft has gotten orders only from Chinese airlines and leasing companies with the exception of a development deal with the major Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair which serves short to medium haul flights throughout Europe, North Africa and West Asia. However, Ryanair has not announced any orders as of yet.
