The Fokker Dr.I is a German triplane that was used in World War 1. It was created as a counter to the Sopwith Triplane. It was introduced in 1917, and 320 of these fighters were produced. it is most notable for being the Red Baron's plane/#.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • It was known that the Dr.I had a tendancy to lose it's top wing while in combat, because of the rushed production. It would generate enough lift to pull it off of the plane itself, dooming the pilot.
