The HS.138 and HS.145 was a VTOL concept by Hawker-Siddeley.[1]

The project was developed by Hawker-Siddeley in the second half of 1969. It involved the creation of two aircraft on one base, practically identical in design: a combat aircraft and a VIP passenger aircraft. The HS.138 was a light attack aircraft with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capability. It was designed to combine the high-speed attack capability of a target with the low-speed search and strike capability of a combat helicopter.

The HS.145 was an 8-seat executive jet using the same lift fans and wing geometry as the HS.138. Both projects use four RB.202 lift fans with a thrust of 4670 kgf each and two RB.172 cruise engines with a thrust of 2300 (3480) kgf each. The attack version had a crew of two and could carry weapons weighing a total of 907 kg. The combat radius would be 213 km at a speed of 1050 km/h.
