The Irbis-E is a multi-mode passive electronically scanned array radar (PESA), that is used by the Sukhoi Su-35BM Flanker-E. The Irbis-E was developed by Tikhomirov NIIP and was based on the N011M BARS radar of the Sukhoi Su-30MKI. The Irbis-E is able to track up to 30 targets in Track-While-Scan mode and engage 8 of them; it operates in X-Band.

The Irbis-E has a detection range of 400 km against a 1 m² target. The Irbis-E is able to perform ground mapping, allowing it to take out up to four ground targets, while searching for airborne targets in the air, simultaneously. There have been claims that it is able to spot 0.01 m² targets at ranges of 90 km..
