The Su-30MKK Flanker-G is an upgraded version of the Su-30. It is a twin engine, long range, heavy class multirole fighter, developed under a joint venture by Russia and China.

The Su-30MKK has compareable avionics and electronics to the technology demonstrator Sukhoi Su-37 Terminator of the 1990´s and it´s the equal of the F-15E Strike Eagle. The first deliveries of thrust vectoring and with an array radar equipped aircraft were made in 2002 and finished in 2004. In the Chinese Airforce are currently 38 Su-30MKK and 24 Su-30MK2 aircraft in sercvice.
