- In May 24, 1988 a Boeing 737 miraculously landed in a little island in New Orleans, Louisiana after reporting fire in one of the engines.
- In May 30, 2009 an Airbus A320 crashed after leaving the runway during a landing in Toncontín International Airport in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. 5 people were killed.
