The twin tail is an aircraft tail configutarion which consists in a pair of vertical fins in the extremes of each horizontal stabilizer, though in some cases like in some fighter jets both tails use to share the same space .

The Lockheed Constellation features a triple tail which is similar to twin but with the only difference that it has a third tail in the center. This configuration was also used by the Avro Manchester.
